I bought this bag last year, and it's brilliant! The luggage strap at the back comes in handy all the time. Can really feel the quality it's the most well made bag I've ever owned.
The bag meets all my requirements (it was made with the idea that Charles and I were both considering). It is superbly made, you can see that it is real leather (the texture and sound of the material working is brilliant). The bag is also relatively heavy, so you can see that it's only made of quality materials (mostly durable). The leather has scratched in a few places for me, but that's the way leather is, if I damage it I'll probably put it in Charles' hands for reconditioning.
The brass buckles for the strap are of great quality, I doubt they would ever break with normal use. The carrying strap itself is also superbly made, although you can see that it was stitched together from two pieces (this caught my eye, but is not a flaw). The smaller handles (ears) are stitched together in a way that doesn't interfere with carrying them freely in the hand. The lining doesn't stick out anywhere, there are no holes or abrasions. The pockets, on the other hand, are quite stretchy in terms of the amount of 'stuff' put into them. The zips also go perfectly (maybe a little hard at times, but that's due to not holding them in the right way. The fasteners work very well and I am glad they were chosen over magnets. My overall rating for the bag is a strong 9.5/10
